Spring Awakening at Clover Brooke Farm – Let the Fun Begin!

Dear Friends,

Spring has officially sprung here at Clover Brooke Farm, and there’s excitement blooming in every pasture, paddock, and planting bed! From freshly shorn animals strutting into summer to new baby goats (with more on the way!), there's never been a better time to visit, explore, and make some memories on the farm.

Here’s a peek at all the fun unfolding this season:

Fresh Cuts & Summer-Ready Herds
All of our animals—llamas, alpacas, sheep, and goats—have been freshly shorn and are ready for the warm weather. They're looking stylish and loving the extra breeze!

Garden Goodies for All
Our gardens are planted and thriving! We’ve sown tasty treats for both humans and animals—plus our dye garden is growing strong with Marigolds, Hoki Sunflowers, Cosmos, and Indigo for our Eco-Dyeing and fiber arts projects.

School Days & Summer Camp
We’re wrapping up visits from our wonderful spring school groups and getting ready for Summer Farm Adventure Camp—four action-packed weeks for curious kids aged 8–12. Camp is almost full, so don’t wait! Learn more & register

Baby Goat Watch Continues!
Our March babies are growing fast—and just when you think it can’t get cuter, we’ve got more goats due in June and July! Expect joyful “kid” chaos all summer long.

Llamaste Yoga is Back
Relax, stretch, and find your zen in the pasture with Tia and Essie, our gentle yoga-loving llamas. Book a session and unwind the farm-fresh way.

Make & Take Classes – Summer Series Begins!
Our hands-on classes are back for the summer with something for everyone:

  • Soap Making

  • Lotion Bars

  • Loofah Workshops

  • Beer Brewing

These workshops are a fun way to learn something new and take home a little piece of the farm!

Lavender Loofahs & New Scents Coming Soon
Our Lavender Loofah classes are in full swing, blending the soothing scent of lavender with a fun, creative project. And behind the scenes, we’re whipping up new seasonal soap scents and dreaming up fiber arts classes for Fall 2025—stay tuned!

Fiber Farming, Friendship & Inspiration
As a woman in the world of fiber farming, this journey continues to be both humbling and empowering. From shearing to spinning, dyeing to designing, there’s a story woven into every fiber we produce. What makes it even more special are the incredible people I’ve been fortunate to meet along the way—artists, farmers, guests, and fellow makers—each bringing their own spark to the farm and reminding me why this work is so meaningful.

Fall Fiber & Textile Workshops – Mark Your Calendars!
We're excited to announce two special fiber arts offerings coming soon:
Eco-Dyed Silk Scarf Class (Fall 2025) – Create a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece using flowers and leaves grown right here on the farm.
Tapestry Weaving Workshop (August)Back by popular demand! Learn the art of weaving and leave with your own beautifully textured wall hanging.

Farewell & Welcome!

This season, we’re saying a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to our wonderful Bard College interns—Clara, Kaela, and Mayerli. Your dedication and positivity brought so much life to the farm, and we wish you the very best in all you do!

And we’re thrilled to welcome our new weekend team:
Kate and Sophia, our enthusiastic and friendly new Tour Guides
