Our Scent Bar puts YOU in charge of the fragrance. Explore different scent families, discover what appeals to you, and experiment with combinations to create a candle that reflects your personality—or captures your favorite holiday memory.

You'll learn about top, middle and base fragrance notes, how scents work together, and why sometimes an unexpected combination makes the perfect blend.

🧪 There's a Little Science Behind That Candle!

While your wax is melting, we'll explore what actually makes a great candle.

You'll learn why temperature matters, how much fragrance is enough (hint: more isn't always better!), why wick size matters, what causes tunneling, the difference between cold throw and hot throw, and why your candle needs time to cure before you light it.

We'll also talk about burn rate, proper wick trimming, melt pools, and how to safely get the best performance from your finished candle.

⏳ The Hardest Part? Waiting!

Your candle may look ready when you leave the farm, but soy candles benefit from curing before their first burn. We'll explain why waiting can make a difference in fragrance performance and why the candle-making process is really:

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of soy candle making—from melting and pouring wax to selecting the right wick, understanding fragrance, and properly caring for your finished candles. Visit our Scent Bar to explore, blend, and create a fragrance that’s uniquely yours. You’ll leave with two hand-poured creations: one 8 oz soy candle and one 2 oz travel candle, along with the knowledge to enjoy them safely and successfully at home.
