Gnome Sweet Gnome: A Yarn Ornament Workshop
🧶 Gnome Ornament Making Workshop
Wrap • Fluff • Create • Take Home
Join us at Clover Brooke Farm for a fun, hands-on Gnome Ornament Making Workshop, where simple yarn becomes a little character with a whole lot of personality!
We’ll guide you through creating your own hanging gnome ornament—from wrapping a cozy yarn hat and shaping its fluffy pom-pom to adding a flowing beard and a sweet little nose.
No knitting, sewing, or needle-felting experience needed!
🎨 A Little Yarn. A Lot of Personality.
Will your gnome wear woodland colors, soft neutrals, or cheerful holiday shades?
Choose your yarn colors and experiment with textures to give your ornament its own look. A tall hat, an extra-fluffy pom-pom, a wonderfully wild beard—the little details make every gnome different.
Create something for your own home or make a thoughtful handmade gift for someone special.
✂️ There’s a Little Technique Behind That Gnome!
As we craft, you’ll learn how to turn simple materials into a finished ornament.
We’ll explore how to attach yarn around a hat base, gather and secure the strands, shape a pom-pom, and assemble your gnome. You’ll also discover how separating and fluffing yarn changes the texture of the beard.
WRAP → TIE → FLUFF → FINISH
These simple techniques are easy to build on when you’re ready to create more gnome friends at home!
🌾 Why Gnome Making at Clover Brooke Farm?
Our workshops are about slowing down, working with your hands, and enjoying the creativity that comes from making something yourself.
Here on our fiber farm, yarn connects us to the animals, the fleece, and the many possibilities held within those fibers. This playful project offers a welcoming way to explore yarn crafts and appreciate how texture and color bring a handmade creation to life.
Come with a friend, make it a holiday outing, or treat yourself to some cozy creative time on the farm.
🎁 What You’ll Make and Take
