During this comprehensive class, you will have the opportunity to discover how to:

• Properly set up the warp thread on the loom

• Execute various weaving stitches, including rya knots, rya loops, tabby weave, pile weave, and soumak weave

• Add decorative fringe to your piece

• Weave using fibers of various weights and textures

By the end of this workshop, you'll leave with your very own small wall hanging and the foundational skills necessary to continue creating beautiful woven artwork on your own.

Your registration includes all the materials required to make a small wall hanging, such as a loom, warp thread, yarn, and a dowel for properly displaying your finished piece.
